Job Title: Network Security Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our network security infrastructure. This includes a diverse range of technologies such as Huawei, Fortinet, Kaspersky, VMware, Cisco, Dell, and VEEAM, among others. The candidate should have a strong understanding of network and security best practices and be able to ensure the security, availability, and integrity of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network Security Management:

• Design, implement, and manage network security solutions including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and other security devices.
• Monitor and manage FortiGate firewalls and FortiMail security solutions.
• Administer and maintain Huawei and Cisco network switches and core switches.

1. Security Software Management:

• Manage Kaspersky Security Center, Kaspersky for Exchange, and other endpoint security solutions.
• Oversee the security of Exchange Mail servers.

1. Virtualization and Cloud Security:

• Manage VMware ESXi, vCenter, and Horizon environments with a focus on security.
• Administer Microsoft RemoteApp solutions and ensure secure access.

1. Data Protection and Backup:

• Implement and manage VEEAM Backup, Veritas Backup Exec, and Dell Data Domain for data protection and disaster recovery.
• Ensure the security and integrity of SAN storage systems, including Huawei and Dell PowerStore.

1. Compliance and Risk Management:

• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

1. Incident Response and Troubleshooting:

• Respond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for network and security-related issues.

1. Collaboration and Training:

• Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions.
• Train and mentor junior staff on security best practices and emerging threats.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security engineering.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, security architectures, and frameworks.
• Experience with Huawei, Fortinet, Cisco, Dell, and Kaspersky technologies.
• Proficiency in managing virtualized environments (VMware) and cloud security.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNP Security, Fortinet NSE, etc.) are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
