We are seeking for a motivated Network Technician with a Diploma in Computer Networks and a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in network operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The role involves ensuring network reliability and performance, along with providing technical support and collaborating with external communication teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls for optimal network performance.
- Organize network cabling and set up communication rooms according to standards.
- Troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling issues.
- Manage and organize network cables in the data center for efficiency.
- Collaborate with communication teams on fault reports and resolutions.
- Maintain automatic fire alarm and UPS systems for network reliability.
- Monitor network systems to identify and resolve issues, minimizing downtime.
- Provide technical support and mentoring to junior staff on network troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Computer Networks or a related field.
