Must be thoroughly familiar with and follow all M venpick corporate and local Operational Standards and to assure guest satisfaction in the absence of the General Manager and the Head of Departments. Must assist all the employees during the night shift in accomplishing their objectives. Must assist in accomplishing obligations and goals as outlined below.
Directs and coordinates various services related to night operations as required.
Ensures prompt, courteous, and accurate service to all guests, to maximize customer satisfaction.
Assures the safety and security of the guests, visitors, and employees and protects the property by working closely with the hotel s security personnel.
Ensures norms, procedures, and systems for the safety and security of guest belongings (e.g. lockers, left luggage, etc.) are efficiently followed and monitored to ensure maximum comfort levels.
Optimizes the efficient usage of room inventory by monitoring, controlling, and feedback to support the departments.
Oversees emergency operations to minimize hotel losses and liability.
Ensures adherence to company and hotel policies by all departmental employees.
Provide the General Manager with a summary of activities and operations during the night shift by preparing a daily written logbook.
Insures guests satisfaction by resolving and taking appropriate actions on all guests complaints.
Call the General Manager and concerned HODs without delay for any fire, bomb threat, burglary, or death that has occurred on the premises.
Calls Hotel Doctor, GM, FOM, and Security Manager in case of a guest accident.
Handle all employees accidents as per hotel policy.
Ensures hotel's employee's grooming & appearance standards are met.
Maintains the hotel s level of cleanliness and sanitation (hygiene) by Regent standards by conducting inspections and taking appropriate action.
Handles government officials, press, etc. during the night.
Familiarity with all Front Desk and Cashiering functions.
Handles turn-away guests.
Checks on authorized employees remaining after the duty.
Opens stores in case of emergencies.
Authorizes payments in case of emergencies.
Maintain a policy of power saving.
Review and update the Logbook
Be smart, and well-groomed and maintain a friendly and cheerful disposition all the time.
Report regularly on happening to FOM and GM.
Maintain associate relations
Resolve complaints.
Handle the disputes.
Ensure the services are up to the required standard.
Smooth check-in / check-out procedures
Co-operation with the hotel s Departments Housekeeping, Engineering, F&B etc
The following duties within the frame of work:
Hotel tour as per listed.
Is aware of the daily hotel activities and has product knowledge of all hotel facilities.
Performs as per Standards, in line with the Hospitality Keys and four cornerstones.
To attend the training sessions as per schedule.
Check hotel situation, occupancy, functions, groups, and VIPs.
Additional Information
Internal: Works in harmony with all hotel employees, applies rules and provides best service within the limit of the established job specification
External: All guests, suppliers/partners.
Materials: All machinery and equipment at Front Office
