NSO Engineer Network Service Orchestrator

Responsibilities

Design and architect network service orchestration systems, considering scalability, reliability, and performance requirements

Develop software solutions for automating the orchestration of network services, utilizing programming languages such as Python

Integrate network orchestration systems with existing network management tools, using NSO

Automate workflows for provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of network services, ensuring consistency and efficiency

Define and implement policies for orchestrating network services

Document design specifications, implementation details, and operational procedures for network service orchestration systems

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Proven experience in designing and implementing network automation and orchestration solutions

Strong programming skills, with proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or similar

In-depth understanding of networking concepts and routing protocols

Familiarity with network management tools and SDN controllers

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment

Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent are preferred

Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Git) is preferred
