DHA Registered Dermatology Nurse - With 3-5years of experience in UAE- Work closely with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with dermatological conditions.
Conduct thorough assessments of patients with skin conditions, including gathering medical history, performing physical examinations, and documenting findings.- Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients, which may include prescribing medications, performing procedures (such as biopsies or minor surgeries), and providing patient education on self-care and treatment options.
Educate patients on proper skincare techniques, medication use, and lifestyle changes to manage and prevent skin conditions.
- Assist dermatologists during procedures and surgeries, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, progress notes, and test results.- Collaborate with dermatologists, other healthcare providers, and support staff to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Provide emotional support and counseling to patients dealing with dermatological issues, helping them cope with the impact of their condition on their daily lives.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dermatology by participating in continuing education opportunities, workshops, and conferences. You may also be involved in research projects related to dermatological care.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Active DHA license as a Registered Nurse
Prior experience in dermatology or a related field is beneficial.- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records.
