Nursing Unit Manager - ICU

Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai is looking to fill a Nursing Unit Manager - Intensive Care Unit.

The Unit Manager is expected to lead and manage the nursing team in the provision of patient-centric and evidence based nursing care, operational efficiency and positive patient experiences.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a recognised/accredited Nursing Institute

Current license as a Registered Nurse in home country and in current place of practice or residence

Desired: Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential: At least 3-5 years senior nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital

Desired: 5-10 years senior nursing experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

1. To provide strong leadership and management guidance to the team
2. To ensure evidence based patient care practices are followed as per clinical standards
3. To ensure positive patient experiences by developing employees and creating an environment that enables team engagement
4. To manage allocated clinical and non-clinical resources in a cost efficient and effective manner to enhance safe patient care
5. To monitor and manage compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards to ensure continuous quality improvement
