Job Title:Occupational Therapist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Arabic Speaker Occupational Therapist to join our team in Sanad Village. Sanad Village. Sanad Village is a renowned facility , dedicated to empowering and supporting individuals with special needs.The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions to enhance clients independence and improve their daily living and motor skills. This role requires expertise in treating individuals with physical, sensory, or cognitive challenges, and working collaboratively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment & Treatment Planning:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve daily living skills and functional independence.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to support rehabilitation and skill development.
• Therapeutic Intervention & Implementation
• Design and implement goal-oriented therapy programs tailored to client needs.
• Provide hands-on therapy for motor skills development, sensory integration, and cognitive rehabilitation.
• Educate clients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, assistive devices, and home exercise programs.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with speech therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and educators to provide holistic care.
• Maintain clear documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Communicate regularly with families, and support staff to ensure continuity of care.

Compliance & Professional Development:

• Ensure compliance with DHA (Dubai Health Authority) licensing requirements and healthcare regulations.
• Stay updated on latest occupational therapy practices through continuous education and training.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
• Perform other duties assigned by your reporting manager / supervisor within the scope of practice from time to time.
• To comply with Qaryat Sanad Rehabilitation Resort's OHS Roles and Responsibilities applicable to Dubai
• OHSMS standards and applicable legal requirements.
• Actively participate in the center's Client safety and Quality improvement programs and other in- service training programs.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

Licenses

Valid DHA license or registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist.

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a pediatric or special needs setting.

Strong knowledge of occupational therapy theories, techniques, and intervention strategies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

Language Skills :

Bilingual is preferred English & Arabic)
