Position Overview
We're looking for an
Office Manager to join our team in Cairo, Egypt, supporting Momentum Ventures sister company,
FlightHub. In this role, you'll lead a range of office management duties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while creating a productive, welcoming environment for our team. You'll oversee administrative functions, manage vendor relationships, coordinate office logistics, and support employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively and enhance our workplace culture. Please note, this position will operate on a rotational shift basis, requiring flexibility to accommodate varying office needs.
What You'll Be Doing
- Ensure smooth office operations by managing office supplies, coordinating maintenance requests, and overseeing general administrative functions.
- Manage and support the rotational shift schedule, ensuring adequate office coverage while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors for office supplies, equipment, and facility maintenance, ensuring the office environment is well-equipped and functional.
- Assist the HR Manager as a point of contact for office-related inquiries, supporting team members with workplace needs, organizing team events, and fostering a positive, inclusive office culture.
- Manage the office budget, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Ensure the office complies with local health and safety regulations, while managing safety protocols.
- Assist the HR Manager with onboarding new hires, including workspace setup, orientation to office procedures, and offering continued support for new employees.
- Maintain organized office records, documentation, and filing systems to ensure information is readily accessible and secure.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in office management and administration.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work on a rotational shift basis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and familiarity with office management software.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, customer support software, or communication platforms to assist with troubleshooting and coordinate IT support, is an asset,
- Ability to handle budgeting and expense tracking effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations is an asset.
- Proactive, solution-oriented approach with a commitment to maintaining a positive office culture.
- Please note this is a full-time on-site position, in New Cairo, Egypt.
