About the Job Position

The Online Booking Specialist will be in charge of daily care of the contacts received from our customers and suppliers made through the different communication channels.

The main objective of this department is the management of requests received in relation to accommodation reservations, transfers and other services, providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily requests from clients and suppliers regarding reservations:
  • soft amendments (no changes in the price)
  • hard amendments (implies price changes: add extra pax, change of room type/regime, modify number of nights)
  • Incident management at destination: in resort issues (ie client on spot and the hotel has an issue with the reservation)
  • Management of pre arrival reservation relocations (over bookings, hotel closure,)
  • Management of reservations rejected by suppliers.
  • Dialogue with the different business areas: DMC offices, IT (for logs), product, loading,
  • Client no-shows, reservations duplicity and double charges management
  • Direct contact with the service providers (third party suppliers, hotel chains, hotels, Magic offices)
  • Telephone attention to daily requests from customers and suppliers.
  • Resolution of incidents and control of related losses.
  • Escalation of incidents (internal and external)
  • Ensure service level.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Desired: University degree in business admin or related field.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish languages
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools
  • Advanced digital technology.
  • Creation of Reports and Dashboards
  • Proven experience working in an online call center.
  • Knowledge of online distribution and standard booking procedures for online reservations (pre travel, in-resort, post travel)
  • Problem Solving and Decision making
  • Proactive and Independent
