Operations Manager - Aluminum Factory- Job Summary: The Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of the aluminum manufacturing process, ensuring efficient operations, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership, extensive industry knowledge, and a focus on continuous improvement.
Operational Management:- Oversee daily factory operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.- Monitor production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery timelines.
Quality Assurance:- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
Implement quality control processes and address any quality issues promptly.- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
Team Leadership:- Manage, mentor, and develop factory staff, including supervisors and operators.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching.
Safety and Compliance:- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.- Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
Inventory and Supply Chain Management:- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of raw materials.
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics to maintain a smooth supply chain.- Optimize inventory management to reduce costs and waste.
Financial Management:- Develop and manage the factorys operational budget.
Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures.- Prepare regular financial and operational reports for senior management.
Technology and Innovation:- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in aluminum manufacturing.
Implement new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.- Lead projects to upgrade equipment and facilities.
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.- Minimum of 10 years of experience in aluminum manufacturing or a related industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of aluminum manufacturing processes and machinery.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.- Proficient in using ERP systems and other operational software.
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
