SCOPE OF WORK :- Oversee a wide range of activities related to the projects, including planning, scheduling, purchasing materials and equipment, quality control etc.
- Oversees several projects, coordinating budgets, estimates, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Acting as a liaison between contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other parties involved in the project.
- Responsible for working with various Clients/ Supplier to ensure projects are completed on-time and within budget.
- Coordinating the order and delivery of materials to job sites.
- Managing the team of project managers.
- Facilitating site planning meetings.
- Tracking company resource usage.
- Identifying project risks and proposing solutions.
- Dispatching subcontractors and equipment.
- Measuring and managing client satisfaction.
- Facilitating weekly operations meetings.
- Coordinating equipment maintenance.
- Keeping track of vendor pricing.
KEY RESULT AREAS (ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES) :Key tasks and accountabilities are intended to be a guide to the range and level of work expected of post holder. This is not an exhaustive list of all tasks that may fall to the post holder and employees will be expected to carry out such other reasonable duties which may be required from time to time.
1. Establishes an organization structure for the project, including manpower utilization and mobilization.
2. Leads, motives, reviews and monitor the performance of the teams staffed with specialists within the contracting division to ensure the effective implementation of the agreed plan.
3. To meet project budgets through assessing and analyzing operational and financial risks that may be encountered in the execution of planned construction projects.
4. Controls and monitors the implementation of the budget, schedule, and quality at various stages of the project execution to ensure adherence to the overall approved plan.
5. Provides Professional expertise in the selection of potential subcontractors and suppliers with particular emphasis on their pre-qualification, bid evaluation and site management in relation to site arrangements and overall logistics.
6. Identifies any bottlenecks, directs, guides, and recommends corrective action to ensure smooth and timely completion of each project.
7. Ensures the timely and comprehensive inspection of all facilities for their quality and integrity as per contractual agreements in terms of required materials equipment specifications and standards.
8. Work with safety units in a bid to plan and manage safety programs for each project and make sure that all aspects of safety are reached.
9. Convey project needs from the project manager to the management of the firm.
10. Assist in the maintenance, development, and enhancement of the company's relationship with contractors in a bid to produce strategic partnership.
11. Train and mentor employees in areas of project management and execution strategy.
12. Coordinate and liaison with all departments of identify and eliminate constraints in construction.
