Later this year, Culinary Arts is bringing its culinary expertise to Dubai's Business Bay with two new establishments.
Both places will feature menus crafted by renowned three Michelin-starred chef Tristin Farmer and his team. Tristin has trained and worked with some of the world's leading chefs across London, Dubai, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
About the position | Restaurant Operations Manager
We seek a driven and results-oriented Restaurant Operations Manager to join our dynamic team! In this crucial leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations, ensuring smooth execution, efficient resource utilization, and a focus on exceeding guest expectations.
Job Description:
Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including scheduling, staffing, inventory control, food safety, and guest satisfaction
Develop and implement operational procedures and systems to optimize efficiency, minimize waste, and maximize profitability
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, ensuring adherence to all health and safety regulations
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
Oversee beverage cost control by monitoring inventory, negotiating with vendors, and minimizing waste
Analyze restaurant data to identify trends, optimize pricing strategies, and improve operational performance
Prepare and manage budgets for all operational aspects of the restaurant
Collaborate with the Restaurant Operations Director on beverage menu development and overall guest experience
Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in restaurant operations
Collaborate with the Marketing team on marketing initiatives and execution
Oversee the backend system of SevenRooms, Point of sales, etc.
Ensure adherence to all safety and hygiene regulations by the respective government agencies within Front of House
Requirement:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the restaurant industry, with at least 2 years in a management role
Proven track record of success in leading and motivating restaurant teams
Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service standards, and inventory management
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a focus on achieving results
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment
Food handling certification is a plus
