Job Description
GAC Saudi Arabia is looking for a smart and energetic Shipping Operations Manager. The job role includes:
- Ensure the shipping coordinator's service levels are up to our GAC Standards for each and every port call. Continuously build team spirit organically along with revenue growth.
- Keep principals updated on new/upcoming projects and coordinate relationships with authorities and local stakeholders.
- Monthly reporting on principal volumes, revenue, new entries to the market, and new projects and opportunities.
- Establish good communication with GAC Suppliers, and negotiate to obtain competitive rates and cost-effective service solutions.
- Handle inquiries accurately and promptly from internal and external customers.
Job Requirements
Educational Qualification:
Graduate, bachelor's degree and/or equivalent
Professional Qualification
- 5 years of Port Agency experience and team leadership
Specialist Knowledge
Sound understanding of the shipping industry
Communication / Language
Excellent English communication skills
Computer Aptitude
Proficient in MS Office applications and adept at learning new software
Experience Levels
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
