Key responsibilities

Operations is responsible for handling all operational activities for Ruya bank. The unit handles activities such as Account onboarding, payments, card/ Cheque book deliveries, Card operations, Reconciliation, & process re-engineering. Operations team is engaged in driving key strategic initiatives and projects with a focus on BAU activities.

The Operations Officer - Finance Operations will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of operations , excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers.

  • Support on processing payment requests
  • Managing adhoc customer escalations as and when it comes from senior management.
  • Adhere to all relevant organizational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders.
  • Managing payments related activities using FTS and other core systems.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple operational responsibilities while exercising a strong ability to multitask.
  • Rectify any process gaps through collaboration with colleagues from other functions

What you will need to succeed

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Previous experience in Operations in a banking sector

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
