Position Overview :
To manage the daily operations for inbound tours into the destination. To be responsible for checking all files confirmed by the sales team, booking guides and transportation and ensuring that all aspects of every tour are prepared and handled correctly by the team.
Responsibilities:
Issue job orders for guides and drivers and prepare cash advances.
Check sites in advance if necessary.
Manage, advise and co-ordinate the senior and junior staff to handle daily work.
Reconfirm and co-ordinate with sub-agents and suppliers, check transfers and airlines if
necessary.
Be in charge of quality control & customer service for execution on ground.
Keep oneself informed of economic, industrial and other trends that affect markets, products
and prices in the tourism field.
Manage, motivate and retain the team to achieve high quality performance.
Maintain good working relations with clients and suppliers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in tourism or related field
A minimum 5 years experience in operations management at DMC/ Travel company
Good command of both written and spoken English and Arabic
Skills:
Hands-on experience with the ability to work as part of a team
Excellent communication skills; able to create and develop good communication with the
suppliers and the team
High degree of customer-orientation.
Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and to prioritize tasks
Ability to provide leadership and to motivate and train staff
High standard of personal conduct and presentation
