Perform product development from concept to production, using current engineering and rapid prototyping techniques ensuring project timelines are met & product time to market is quick.
Analyse requirements and create design specification documents
Perform detailed analysis and simulations to optimize design.
Evaluate prototypes to verify performance specifications.
Follow good manufacturing practices, document design and technical interaction
Perform radiometric calculations and modelling.
Create and maintain engineering drawings and specifications to accurately document design.
Effectively communicate critical design features to Manufacturing and ensure compliance with relevant internal and external standards.
Troubleshoot Manufacturing complaints and field returns and perform root cause analysis using problem solving methodologies.
Develop test methods to replicate product application and test potential product failure modes.
Utilize test protocols to satisfy Design Verification requirements and deliver statistically significant results.
Lead projects, working closely with cross functional teams including Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Engineering to identify and address product quality and production issues.
Closely negotiate with customers on requirements & product features (if necessary ).
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Engineering major in electrical, mechanical or electronics complemented by appropriate training.
