Oracle Database Administrator for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services.
This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience
- Hands on Experience in Oracle database 12C/19C
- Strong knowledge on Oracle database refreshes
- Experience on Database Migration, Installation, upgrade and patching
- Hands on experience in export and import
- Strong knowledge on tablespace management, user managements and locks in database
- House keeping of oracle mount points
- Knowledge on memory and cpu managements
- Usage of AWR, ASH and ADDM, translate this and suggest the improvement based on this
- Strong knowledge on database rman backup and recovery concepts
- Strong knowledge on Data Guard administration
- Strong knowledge on Data Guard broker
- Strong operations focus on Oracle 12c/19c databases which include installing, configuring and tuning
- Apply database software patches PSU
- Strong knowledge on applying patches and fixes
- Knowledge/experience on 12C to 19C upgrade
- Oracle 19c database administration, monitoring & performance analysis of Oracle instances
- Troubleshooting and monitoring concepts of long running queries
- Knowledge on performance tuning
- Knowledge of incident, change and problem management
