- Design stable, reliable and effective databases
- Modify databases according to requirements and perform tests
- Solve database usage issues and malfunctions
- Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices
- Develop technical and training manuals
- Provide database technical support to Application Support team
- Ensure all database programs meet Business and performance requirements
- Works with project team to plan, design and maintain re-useable development standards that help implement each solution and/or enhancements to existing systems to meet current and future needs
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science is required.
Minimum of 5 years of overall database design and development experience is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle design and development, PL/SQL development is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in MS SQL Server design and development, T-SQL development is required.
Expertise in Oracle Forms and Report.
Expertise in client-side web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax).
Expertise in Rest API development.
Experience with ORDS.
Apply workflow into APEX, and separate business logic from the UI.
Experience with automated unit testing of APEX applications, integration components & web services.
Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Database design and performance tuning.
