We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and be skilled in developing, customizing, and integrating EBS applications. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle technologies and the ability to work closely with functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- EBS Development and Customization: Design, develop, and customize Oracle E-Business Suite applications to meet business requirements.
- Technical Design: Create technical specifications and design documents based on functional requirements and collaborate with functional consultants.
- Data Conversion and Migration: Develop data conversion and migration scripts to transfer data into Oracle EBS from legacy or other external systems.
- Integration Development: Design and implement integrations between Oracle EBS and other applications, using APIs, Web Services, or custom PL/SQL.
- Workflow and Reporting: Configure Oracle EBS workflows and design custom reports using tools like Oracle Reports, XML Publisher, and Oracle Discoverer.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to EBS applications, performance, and data integrity.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, testing documentation, and user guides.
- Collaboration: Work closely with functional teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) technical development.
- Strong knowledge of EBS modules (such as Financials, Supply Chain, HRMS).
- Proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and XML Publisher.
- Familiarity with Oracle Workflow, Web ADI, and Oracle Application Framework (OAF) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with version control systems and agile development practices is desirable.
