We are looking to hire a Oracle Fusion Functional Consultant - Procurement & SCM who will be responsible managing and optimizing procurement processes within the organization and supporting integration projects across various modules, enhancing the organization's procurement efficiency and supply chain performance for our client based in Dubai- which is one of the largest companies in the region.
This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable.
The role sits within the Procurement Department and reports directly to the Senior Manager.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and enhance procurement processes to streamline efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of procurement workflows, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and supply chain best practices.
- Serve as a functional lead for Oracle Fusion SCM, overseeing modules including Inventory, Procurement, and Supplier Management.
- Lead integration projects across SCM modules to ensure seamless operations and data accuracy.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies tailored to UAE market needs, optimizing sourcing and logistics.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials and services by coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with various departments to ensure procurement aligns with operational goals.
- Support business units by providing insights and solutions that enhance procurement capabilities and decision-making.
- Lead procurement-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
Knowledge, skills & experience:
- 10 years in procurement or supply chain roles, with specific expertise in Oracle Fusion SCM across all modules.
- Comprehensive experience in Oracle Fusion SCM, with a proven track record of managing integration projects.
- In-depth understanding of UAE market dynamics and supply chain practices.
- Prior UAE experience with demonstrated knowledge of local supply chain and procurement challenges.
- Immediate availability for deployment within a UAE-based project.
