Wizejob is seeking a dedicated and skilled Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our client's esteemed healthcare team. In this role, you will diagnose, manage, and treat various conditions related to the oral cavity, jaw, and facial structures. You will perform surgeries that restore function and aesthetics, addressing issues from trauma, congenital defects, and diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify medical and dental health issues
- Perform surgical procedures, including tooth extractions, corrective jaw surgery, and facial reconstructive surgery
- Administer anesthesia and manage postoperative care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including dentists and orthodontists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate patients and their families about surgical options, risks, and postoperative care
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD)
- Licensed to practice in the required jurisdiction
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a similar role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
