We are currently looking for an accomplished Oral Medicine Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will provide advanced oral healthcare services, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the oral cavity and surrounding areas.
As an Oral Medicine Specialist, you'll conduct thorough patient evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and devise individualized treatment plans. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing patient outcomes and providing high-quality care tailored to each individual's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and review patients medical histories
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging studies and biopsies
- Diagnose and manage various oral disorders, such as oral lesions, mucosal diseases, and orofacial pain
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Perform minor surgical procedures, such as biopsies and excisions as required
- Collaborate with dental and medical teams to ensure integrated patient care
- Engage in continuing education to stay updated on developments in oral medicine
Requirements
- Degree in Dentistry from an accredited institution
- Active license to practice as an Oral Medicine Specialist
- Relevant experience in the diagnosis and treatment of oral diseases
- Strong knowledge of oral medicine practices and clinical guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues
- Analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
