Job Summary
The Organization Development (OD) Specialist is responsible for supporting organizational growth and effectiveness through initiatives in job analysis, employee development, change management, and engagement. This position focuses on developing and implementing programs to enhance employee skills, optimize job structures, and promote a positive workplace culture. The OD Specialist collaborates with the HR team and leaders across the organization to align workforce capabilities with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Job Analysis and Job Grading Support
- Conduct job analyses, gathering and analyzing data on responsibilities, skills, and coetencies needed for various roles.
- Assist in developing and maintaining job descriptions, ensuring alignment with the organization's grading and compensation structures.
- Support the job grading and evaluation process by benchmarking roles internally and externally.
Employee Development and Training Programs
- Assist in designing and coordinating training and development programs for employees, including onboarding, technical skills training, and leadership development.
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, gathering feedback and adjusting programs based on outcomes and employee needs.
Change Management Support
- Support change management efforts for organizational restructuring, process improvements, and cultural initiatives.
- Work closely with the HR team to create communication plans, resources, and tools that facilitate smooth transitions during change.
Succession Planning and Career Pathing
- Assist in developing and maintaining career paths and succession planning processes.
- Support the identification of high-potential talent and provide resources to aid their development and readiness for future roles.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collect and analyze data related to OD initiatives, including turnover, performance metrics, and engagement data.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to present insights and track progress against organizational development objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Organizational Development or HR-related roles.
- Basic knowledge of job evaluation and grading processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
