The Job: The Organization, Skills & Learning Specialist, based in Dubai, will support learning, talent, and people development and DEI initiatives across the AMEA region, driving the effective implementation of Group and Regional programs. Reporting to the Head of Learning, Skills, OD, and D&I, this role involves working closely with HR teams across AMEA to implement ENGIE's talent, organizational development, and diversity strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning & Development Programs:
o Coordinate and administer regional and Group training initiatives, including management, onboarding, and local talent development programs.
o Ensure that training programs are completed by targeted employees on time. o Engage local providers for customized training needs and optimize current offerings to suit regional demands. o Monitor and align learning and development initiatives with the Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) to ensure that regional talent development needs are met in line with organizational goals and future workforce requirements.
Talent Management & Development:
o Deliver and advise on talent management and development services, assisting in implementing corporate programs.
o Support the People Position Review process for AMEA, including data analysis and action planning for regional talent calibration.
o Oversee the Mentoring Program, DEI Roadmap, and employee well-being initiatives.
Learning Management System (LMS - Sezame):
o Act as the main point of contact and administrator for Sezame across AMEA, managing data accuracy, program activation, and user onboarding.
o Collaborate closely with the AMEA administrator to ensure data completion in the GSR.
o Drive utilization and engagement in eLearning programs across the region.
Employee Engagement:
o Monitor the debrief sessions of the ENGIE&Me employee engagement survey for the AMEA region, analyze the results, and coordinate action plans.
o Foster a learning culture across AMEA, encouraging continuous development aligned with ENGIE's values.
DEI initiatives:
o Coordinate with the various stakeholders in AMEA (Talent Acquisition, Comms, Talent Management, Heads of HR...) by building and reinforcing inclusive policies, developing key skills, and embedding DEI principles throughout organizational processes.
Reporting & Analysis:
o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports on skills and learning KPIs for relevant stakeholders.
o Monitor talent metrics and provide insights on regional development initiatives.
Key Relationships:
o Internal: All levels employees in AMEA Region / HR team in regional Hub AMEA and country HR / Engie University
o External: Learning & Development providers, HR consultants.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in HR, , Business Administration, or related field; a Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
More than 5/7 years of HR experience, with a focus on talent, learning, and development in a multinational setting.
Familiarity with coaching tools (e.g., CliftonStrengths, SHL assessments) and the energy sector is advantageous.
Skills and Attributes:
Strong project management, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
High adaptability, autonomy, and cultural sensitivity.
Ability to assess learning needs and recommend suitable solutions.
Fluency in English; French or Arabic is a plus.
Location: Primary Location: Dubai.
Travel: Within the region as required.
Schedule: Full-time. 6-month, temporary contract.
