Owner Representative - Director Of Engineering

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operations of facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
• Planned, coordinated, and oversaw facility projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Ensure facilities comply with relevant regulations and standards, including health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Develop and manage facility budgets, including cost estimation, expense control, and financial reporting.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs, track equipment performance, and address maintenance issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Optimize facility space utilization by analyzing and planning efficient layouts, considering workflow, functionality, and employee needs.
• Develop and implement energy conservation programs to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
• Collaborate with internal teams, owners, property managers, and external consultants to align facility strategies with organizational goals.
• Prepare regular reports on facility performance, project status, and budget updates for management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Architectural/Finishing work knowledge with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Average of 15+ years experience in the Hospitality/Facility Management field.
• Hotel/resort strong background experience is preferred.
• Willingness and flexibility to work and be based in various locations (Alexandria, Sharm El Sheikh, Cairo, Luxor & Aswan).
