d2m Services is currently seeking a qualified Topsides Constuction Engineer to join its Client's team for a significant project involving the construction of modules for a Floating Storage Unit (FSU) and a liquefaction barge.
Your responsabilities:
- Leading and supervising topsides construction activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Working closely with site teams and other disciplines to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
- Manage suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring the quality of materials and equipment delivered
- Identify and resolve technical problems on site in a timely manner
- Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Prepare progress reports and participate in project coordination meetings
Requirements
- Engineering degree (or equivalent) with specialisation in construction, offshore engineering or similar discipline
- Minimum of 5 years experience in topsides construction
- A previous experience on a yard in the UAE is a real asset
- Excellent project management skills and ability to work in multicultural environments
- Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Good command of technical English (oral and written)
