Job Description

The Part-Time Automotive Diagnostics Trainer will be responsible for delivering specialized training sessions in automotive diagnostics to students at the vocational training academy. The trainer will focus on equipping students with essential skills in diagnosing and troubleshooting modern vehicle systems, preparing them for careers as automotive technicians. This role is ideal for professionals looking to share their industry expertise while maintaining flexibility.
  • Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Specialized Training Sessions: Conduct hands-on and theoretical training sessions on automotive diagnostics, focusing on both electronic and mechanical systems in modern vehicles.

Develop and Update Lesson Plans: Create and refine lesson plans to ensure they align with current industry practices and technological advancements in automotive diagnostics.

Provide Practical Experience: Guide students through the use of diagnostic tools, such as OBD-II scanners, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and specialized software, ensuring they gain practical, real-world experience.

Assess Student Performance: Evaluate student progress through quizzes, practical tests, and assignments. Offer constructive feedback to enhance their diagnostic skills.

Maintain Industry Standards: Ensure that all training content and methods adhere to industry standards and safety protocols.

Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Continuously update your knowledge to incorporate the latest automotive diagnostic technologies and practices into the training program.

Mentor and Support Students: Provide guidance and support to students, helping them grasp complex concepts and succeed in their studies and future careers.

Collaborate with Faculty: Work with other instructors to integrate diagnostic training with broader automotive technology subjects, contributing to a cohesive and comprehensive learning experience.

_Qualifications:_
  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications in Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or equivalent are preferred.

_Experience:_
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive diagnostics and repair.
Prior experience in teaching or training roles is an asset.
  • Proficiency with modern diagnostic tools and systems, including hybrid and electric vehicles, is desirable.

Skills:_
  • Strong understanding of vehicle electronics, engine control systems, and advanced diagnostic techniques.
Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts.
  • Ability to create and deliver engaging training materials.
Proficient in using educational technology for creating instructional content.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage part-time responsibilities efficiently.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: AED
  • 00 - AED100.00 per day

    Expected hours: 10 15 per week
