We are working with a new investment fund with a mission to identify and support high-potential growth stage companies primarily within the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. This fund is driven by a commitment to fostering innovation and supporting entrepreneurial growth, with a focus on diverse and impactful investments across learning, wellbeing and the environment.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an ambitious and highly skilled Partner with an investment track record to play a critical role in the fund's success. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone currently at a Senior Principal level in private equity, venture capital, or a related field, who is looking to advance their career and take on a leadership role. You will work closely with senior partners and contribute significantly to investment strategy, portfolio management, and deal execution as part of growing and dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Sourcing: Identify high-potential investment opportunities within the MENA region, leveraging a strong network and knowledge of the market.
- Due Diligence: Conduct in-depth due diligence, including financial analysis, market assessment, and risk evaluation.
- Investment Strategy: Collaborate on developing and refining investment strategies, with an eye toward both financial returns and strategic value for portfolio companies.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance to drive growth, improve performance, and enhance value creation.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, advisors, and other stakeholders across MENA markets.
- Market Insights: Stay informed on market trends and emerging opportunities within the MENA region to support informed decision-making and strategy adaptation.
Requirements:
- Experience: 7-10 years in private equity, venture capital, or a related investment field, with significant exposure to the MENA region.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Languages: Fluent English is required; French is highly desirable for interfacing with French-speaking markets and partners.
- Skills: Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to structure and negotiate complex deals.
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial, results-driven, and a collaborative team player with the capacity to take initiative and manage multiple projects.
