A research assistant position is available in the Magzoub lab at NYU Abu Dhabi (https://www.magzoub-lab.com). The research will focus on developing novel inhibitors of pathogenic protein self-assembly implicated in neurodegenerative disorders (e.g. Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases).

- We are looking for highly motivated candidates with an interest in working in the areas of neuroscience and molecular medicine, and hold a Bachelor or Master of Science (BSc or MSc) in a relevant field.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in neuroscience and/or protein misfolding diseases.
- Experience in mammalian cell culture is highly desired.
