Payments Lead - FinTech - Dubai, Full Time
We are looking for an experienced Payments Lead to develop and scale our clients payments infrastructure, including their new Pay Later product. This role requires expertise in payment systems, strategic leadership, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and optimize payment infrastructure with a focus on efficiency, security, and innovation.
- Drive growth of the Pay Later business unit.
- Design payment flows, integrations, and reconciliation processes.
- Develop risk management strategies for tenant screening and payment operations.
- Collaborate with teams to align payment solutions with business goals and regulations.
- Manage relationships with payment partners, processors, and regulators.
- Lead a team of payment professionals while fostering innovation and excellence.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in payment system development, preferably in FinTech, or related industries.
- Proven expertise in payment gateways, BNPL, or financial platforms.
- Knowledge of payment processing, compliance, and risk management.
- Experience with card payments, Open Banking, and A2A systems.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Background in fraud prevention and alternative financing models.
- Track record in product development and scaling within FinTech or PropTech
