As part of our recruitment activity, we are looking for an
Offshore Method Engineer (Dredging) to join our client's team.
The scope of the project encompasses the installation of 2 seawater intake structures, one HDPE diffuser, the recovery of 3 MTBM offshore and dredging in coral limestone for a total volume of 10 000m3.
Missions:
- In charge of developing the project's offshore construction methods for dredging, disposal of excavated material and backfilling + soil leveling (foundations)
- Works closely with the Design Manager and the Project Construction/Installation Manager to ensure the development of efficient, cost effective and safe dredging methods
- Analyses the risks associated with each proposed method, actively participates in design, construction and risk reviews
- Writes/coordinates the method documentation (method statement, procedure, drawings, calculation notes, list of installation aids, etc.)
- Participation in explanation meetings with clients or partners
- Ability to propose and adapt
- Moves on site, for operations
Conditions:
- 18 months assignment
- 4 months in Cassis (France)
- 14 months in Saudi Arabia. Tripple Bay, Red Sea
- Start-up : end of July
- Global project for the construction of a luxury tourism marina
- Scope: Seawater desalination plant
Requirements
- Engineering degree
- At least 3 years experience in a similar position
- Operational immediately
Language:
English required
If fluent: French and/or Arabic
Expertise in:
Dredging
Backfilling
Seabed preparation and leveling
Operations with work barge nearshore
Methods or plant management/offshore operations
Experience in an international environment
Background Offshore Oil & Gas industry ou Marine intake and outfall structures/pipelines installation.
