As a Penetration Tester, you'll be working with a talented automotive team of software, hardware system, and testing experts. In this role, you will be simulating cyber-attacks to evaluate the robustness of systems, networks, and applications, providing insights to strengthen the company's defenses. You will bring a strong understanding of security frameworks, risk management, and secure software development practices, with a focus on supporting cybersecurity and compliance initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough penetration tests on systems, networks, and applications to uncover potential security weaknesses.
- Develop and execute testing scenarios simulating various cyber threats, including advanced persistent threats (APTs).
- Work closely with software development and engineering teams to implement secure coding and design practices.
- Provide detailed reports outlining vulnerabilities, potential impacts, and mitigation strategies, prioritizing findings based on risk.
- Actively monitor, respond to, and investigate security incidents, ensuring fast response and in-depth analysis.
- Support cloud security by validating configurations and performing vulnerability management within cloud environments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats, tools, and methods in the cybersecurity landscape.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote cybersecurity awareness and develop training for secure practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.
- Over 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 1 years specializing in penetration testing or ethical hacking.
- Proficiency in penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nessus) and familiarity with scripting languages like Python and PowerShell.
- In-depth understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Linux, Windows), and cloud security principles.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CEH, OSCP, CISSP) are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify complex vulnerabilities and translate technical findings into actionable insights.
