Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations Management:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the HR department, including employee onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and compliance.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
Employee Experience:
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns, providing timely and effective resolution.
- Develop and implement programs to promote a positive workplace culture and employee well-being.
Talent Management:
- Support the recruitment process by collaborating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, create job descriptions, and conduct interviews.
- Manage the performance management process, including setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and providing feedback.
- Identify and address training and development needs to support employee growth and career advancement.
Strategic HR Initiatives:
- Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals and objectives.
- Lead HR projects and initiatives, such as diversity and inclusion programs, employee recognition programs, and organizational development efforts.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Ensure the HR team is equipped with the necessary tools, resources, and training to effectively support the organization.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the HR team.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Masters degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in HR operations or a similar role, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership position.
- Proven experience in managing HR functions, including payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, policies, and labor laws.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
