Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat diseases and conditions affecting the gums and other structures supporting the teeth
- Perform periodontal procedures such as scaling and root planing, gum grafting, and dental implant placement
- Evaluate and monitor the progress of periodontal treatments
- Provide education and guidance on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
- Collaborate with other dental specialists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of periodontics through continuous learning and professional development
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
- Valid license to practice as a Periodontist
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating periodontal diseases and conditions
- Strong knowledge of periodontal procedures such as scaling and root planing, gum grafting, and dental implant placement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
