Job Title: Personal Thai Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Personal Thai Chef, preferably male, with a minimum of 6 years of culinary experience, specializing in Thai cuisine. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in cooking a variety of Thai dishes, including but not limited to Kayang Kanyo (barbecue chicken with sticky rice), Som Tam (papaya salad), Pad Thai (flat noodles), Baika Pow (minced chicken with basil leaves), different kinds of clear soups, salads, and desserts such as mango sticky rice and coconut jelly. Importantly, the candidate must be able to prepare these dishes without sweet sauces and chili, adhering to specific taste preferences.
- Prepare and cook a wide range of Thai dishes, including Kayang Kanyo, Som Tam, Pad Thai, Baika Pow, clear soups, salads, and desserts, according to the employer's preferences.
- Ability to cook other Asian cuisines, as well as Mediterranean and Continental cuisine, is highly desirable.
- Ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.
- Must be knowledgeable about preparing healthy and organic food options, as well as accommodating dietary restrictions such as gluten-free meals.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, following basic personal and kitchen hygiene standards at all times.
- Collaborate with household staff to coordinate meal schedules and preferences.
- Stay updated with food trends, new recipes, and culinary techniques.
- Minimum 6 years of experience as a professional chef, specializing in Thai cuisine.
- Proficiency in cooking a variety of Thai dishes, including Kayang Kanyo, Som Tam, Pad Thai, Baika Pow, and traditional Thai desserts.
- Knowledge and experience in cooking other Asian cuisines, Mediterranean, and Continental cuisine is a plus.
- Ability to adapt recipes to meet specific dietary preferences and restrictions.
- Strong understanding of basic personal and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be between 30 to 55 years of age.
