We are looking for a talented Phaser JS Game Developer to join our team and help us develop engaging and high-quality 2D browser games using the Phaser framework. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and optimizing games for performance across multiple platforms.
The developer should be able to produce 4 to 6 games per month based on given requirements and ensure smooth functionality and interactivity.
Responsibilities:
- Develop 2D games using the Phaser framework from concept to deployment.
- Optimize game performance for cross-platform compatibility (desktop and mobile).
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure timely delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues or bugs encountered in the game development process.
- Stay updated with the latest tools, techniques, and trends in game development and JavaScript frameworks.
- Maintain well-documented, reusable, and efficient code.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in developing games using Phaser JS.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Portfolio showcasing games developed using the Phaser framework.
- Ability to design and implement game mechanics, animations, and sound integration.
- Familiarity with asset management and game physics in Phaser.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of cross-platform game development, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in 2D graphics design or working with graphic designers.
- Knowledge of backend integration for game data (e.g., Firebase, REST APIs).
