Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
Developing pipeline designs.
Performing hydraulic calculations.
Coordinating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Performing stress analysis on the piping systems.
Ensuring that Engineering deliverables are completed as per the Agreed project schedule & With acceptable Quality.
Evaluate the Comments from the Client and identify potential Change orders.
Review and preparation of engineering deliverables including models, drawings, calculations, specifications, reports, and vendor designs.
Provide site technical support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipeline design, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
Strong knowledge of pipeline design codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, etc.).
Proficiency in pipeline design software and hydraulic analysis tools (e.g., AutoCAD, CAESAR II, Pipe Flow, Auto Desk civil 3D).
Familiarity with geotechnical and environmental considerations in pipeline design.
Experience with stress analysis, pipe routing, and material selection.
