About the Role:

Manage on a project a team of Piping and Layout Draftsmen in order to carry out the Piping and Layout part of the installations, 3D CAD model and the Piping and Layout construction drawings in accordance with technical, budget and schedule targets, under responsibility of the project Piping and layout leader or piping engineers

Responsibilities:

Ensure activities align with QA/QC and HSE standards.

Development and Support:

• Contribute to technology development and commercial assistance.

Feasibility Studies & Proposals:

• Participate in feasibility assessments and bidding/commercial proposal preparation.

Project Execution:

• Conduct or oversee Piping and Layout studies, including:
• 3D Modeling: Create, review, and perform clash checks.
• Drawings: Generate 2D/3D construction or design documents (e.g., plot plans, layouts, general arrangements, isometrics, piping supports).
• Material Documentation: Prepare Bill of Materials (BoM) and extract data from 3D models.

Team and Coordination:

• Organize team resources and planning.
• Coordinate with project Piping and Layout engineers.

Quality and Supervision:

• Verify input data, team outputs, and assumptions.
• Address anomalies and maintain alignment with project requirements.
• Supervise updates following inter-discipline or external feedback.

Continuous Improvement:

• Document lessons learned to enhance departmental practices.
