Wood is currently looking for a Planner IV (OMPP) to support OMPP projects in Saudi Arabia
Provide the Project Management with accurate monthly cost and progress reports incorporating early warning, forecast completions, together with the critical path and trend analyses.
Accountable for managing the Main Contract commercial issues.
To ensure that all work is performed without compromise to quality and in line with the company's procedures.
To maintain high standard of safety at all times
Advising project team on cost control, planning & Contract compliance
Tracking progress & reports against actual cost
Preparing any special progress reports, cost reports, and forecasts for team activities
Assisting in change management process with project leaders and contractors
Reviewing project cost estimates and schedules
Coordinating routine progress reporting
Reviewing project cost estimates and project budget tracking and controlling for compliance
Assist Cost Engineers to prepare and update weekly and monthly project cost reports
Tracking and evaluating PO and subcontract cost reporting and invoicing
Participating in reporting on process and cost
Develop a suitable Work Breakdown Structure covering the project requirements / scope of works.
Coordinate with client representatives, team members, contractors, subcontractors to consider all project requirements.
Coordinate and follow up with Project Engineers and other project stakeholders for inputs and updates to required reports and schedules within the required time.
Ability to present cost reports, schedules and manpower histograms to the project team and Client, when required.
Provides training, mentoring and ongoing project controls guidance to project team members.
Establish and manage the invoicing procedure and supervise its proper implementation.
Support the development of the Project Controls team members.
Identify and share lessons learned to support continuous improvement of project performance and company operations.
Fair knowledge of planning in terms of schedule integration between Engineering to Procurement and construction
Hands on experience in the development of EPC schedule during the FEED phase to identify the EPC contractor.
Qualification:
Minimum of 6 years experience in the oil and gas industry
Graduate Degree is preferred however alternative qualifications will be considered i.e. HNC / HND
Experience in FEED project is must & experience in offshore project is added advantage
Previous experience of working in the Aramco project would be an advantage.
Expert in writing reports
Commercially and contractually aware and able to manage budgets
Familiar with project controls systems
Good Communication skills
