Job Summary:
The Planning Director is responsible for overseeing and directing all planning operations for Estithmar Holding. This role requires a strategic leader who can guide complex projects, develop comprehensive plans, and align the company's objectives with stakeholders needs. The Planning Director will work closely with cross-functional teams, manage high-level planning initiatives, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Project Leadership
- Develop, implement, and oversee strategic plans, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Lead large-scale projects and provide guidance to ensure they are on track to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define project scopes, goals, and deliverables.
Resource & Capacity Management
- Plan and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure project efficiency.
- Conduct resource forecasting and maintain optimal utilization across multiple projects.
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage, mentor, and guide planning staff, promoting a culture of growth and accountability.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide ongoing coaching, and develop training programs to enhance team skills.
Risk Management & Quality Control
- Identify potential risks in projects and develop mitigation plans to minimize impact.
- Oversee quality assurance processes and ensure adherence to regulatory standards and project specifications.
Budgeting & Financial Management
- Establish and manage budgets for planning projects, ensuring they align with financial objectives.
- Monitor expenses, track project costs, and provide regular reports on financial performance.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and external stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and contractors.
- Prepare and present project updates, plans, and reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in planning, project management, or a similar field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Certifications: Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2) or planning (e.g., AICP) are advantageous.
