You will be responsible for developing and managing project plans, as well as coordinating with other departments to ensure that all aspects of the project are on track. - Planning Engineer Duties:
Assist in the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive planning, forecasting, and budgeting systems
- Develop and maintain streamlined and comprehensive planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes
Work closely with senior management to develop strategic plans for growth- Work closely with senior management to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of operations
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
- Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments- Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as need
- Planning Engineer Responsibilities:
Develop technical solutions and strategies in project management, construction management, civil engineering, or a related field- Research and issue reports, develop presentations, and propose software solutions
Ensure accuracy and accountability in coding, editing, and writing reports, letters, and memos
- Maintain files, records, and documents using applicable software systems and procedures
Assist with training staff on the use of various software programs- Assist with budgeting and scheduling
Procure goods and services, including vendors and consultants
- Attend conferences and trade shows to broaden professional knowledge and network
* Maintain hardware and software inventories
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
