Planning Engineer

Designation: Jr. Planning Engineer / Jr. Planner

Reporting to: General Manager

Summary:

The Jr. Planning Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and progress

tracking of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contracting and

construction planning, with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Attend weekly team meetings to effectively create a masterplan and carry out project

schedules.

Develop detailed schedules for each project (Design, Fitout, Furniture, Gypsum), resource

allocation plans, and logistics plans in collaboration with 2D, 3D and Relationship Managers.

Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to deadlines and milestones.

Conduct regular visits to assess progress and identify any issues or delays.

Analyze project specifications and technical drawings to understand project requirements.

Collaborate with the design team and FF&E teams to ensure alignment on project timelines

and objectives.

Prepare regular reports and presentations on project progress, including variance analysis and

mitigation strategies.

Evaluate and propose improvements to planning processes to enhance efficiency and

productivity.

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidate profile must have successfully managed AED 50M above projects.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Proven experience as a Planning Engineer or in a similar role within the contracting industry.

Strong proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects

simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate

effectively with cross-functional teams.

Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

Must be able to work full time in the headquarters based in Fujairah
