Planning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Planning Engineer to lead the planning and scheduling efforts for infrastructure and landscape projects. This role involves developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring that all related activities align with project timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

Project Scheduling & Planning:

• Develop detailed schedules, define project milestones, and manage timelines to ensure that project objectives are met efficiently.

Coordination with Project Teams:

• Collaborate closely with the project manager, engineers, and contractors to coordinate activities and ensure alignment with overall project schedules.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting:

• Track project progress, identify potential delays, and prepare regular updates and reports for senior management.
• Generate and distribute regular status reports and presentations to stakeholders.
• Lead weekly progress meetings with the employer.

Resource Management:

• Forecast and allocate resources for activities, ensuring that adequate manpower, materials, and equipment are available at all stages of the project.

Claims Management:

• Prepare delay analysis and Extension of Time (EOT) claims.

Risk Assessment & Mitigation:

• Identify risks related to the scope of work, develop mitigation plans, and take proactive measures to avoid project disruptions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.

Minimum 8+ years of experience in planning and scheduling.

Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g.,Primavera P6, MS Project, Power Bi).

Previous experience in landscape projects is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
