Planning Engineer

This is a full-time on-site role for a Planning Engineer at Premier located in Mohandseen. The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive project schedule that covers the entirety of the civil engineering design process. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively coordinate and manage projects.

Job Description

Prepare realistic project schedule using appropriate too such as Primavera and MS project

Prepare competitive bids for new projects

Calculate Optimal Material requirement, Manpower Requirement for each stage of the project

Coordinate with the project manager and different departments to ensure good execution of the plan

Plan for the budget required for the project and monitor expenses as the project is executed

Create cash flow forecasts for each project

Coordinate with the client to ensure efficient execution for the project

Collect periodic updates and prepare daily, weekly and monthly updates of the project

Create variance reports (Schedule Variance and Cost Variance - usually Earned Value Method (EMV) is used for this) at various stages of the project to analyze deviations

Create Project Closing Reports with continuous improvement

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering
• Experience from 10 to 15 years in the same role
• Proven work experience as a Demand Planner
• Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
• Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Relevant training and/or certifications as a Demand Planner
