Job Description

China State Construction Middle East is recruiting a Planning Manager to lead the Planning team in a High Rise Tower Project in Dubai, UAE.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Taking the lead in preparation of Baseline Programs, by means of preparing it from initiation stage, as a whole including loading of resource and costs, defining activity codes using Primavera P6 software.
  • Taking the lead in updating and revising the Project Baseline Program as required.
  • Taking the lead in preparation of Construction Programs, Working Programs, Recovery Programs, Short Term Look ahead Programs as and when required using Primavera P6 software.
  • Taking the lead in reparation of various reporting formats setting the project reporting criteria.
  • Taking the lead in monitoring and controlling the progress of key activities included under engineering, procurement, construction phases; collection of data and updating of Projects Schedules (Baseline, Construction, Short Term Look ahead Programs) using Primavera P6 Software.
  • Awareness of all the critical issues which effects progress of the works and reporting of these in timely manner to the Project Management.
  • Taking lead in coordination and preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Taking lead in coordination and preparation of Key Performance Indicators for all main trades / activities and cost centers as required.
  • Taking lead in preparation, monitoring and update of Resource and Cost Histograms.
  • Taking lead in preparation of Dashboard Reports.
  • Coordination with fellow Departments to for efficient collection and timely processing of accurate project information.
  • Representing Project Planning Department with full exposure to the Client.
  • Taking lead in preparation of Extension of Time Programs by means of utilizing required analyzing methods using Primavera P6 software.
  • Improving the construction management knowledge of the planning and construction teams.
  • Taking the lead of the Project Planning Department and setting an example to the Project Planning Staff.

Requirements;

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Hands-on experience in EOT Claims
  • 15+ Years of work experience
