Our Client is a leading company in the Pharmaceutical sector, and we are looking for a motivated Plant Director to manage and optimize our manufacturing operations.
The Plant Director will oversee all aspects of plant operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Lead the plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency of production processes.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational performance, reduce costs, and maximize productivity.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and quality standards set by health authorities.
Manage budgets and optimize resource allocation, balancing cost control with production needs.
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork among plant personnel.
Monitor production output and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet production goals.
Collaborate with other departments such as quality assurance, logistics, and supply chain to align operations with business objectives.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure plant performance.
Mentor and develop staff within the plant to enhance their skills and career growth.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices to keep the plant competitive.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and regulatory requirements
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on employee development and performance management
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
