Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Operations MENA Region the KSA Plant Manager is responsible for the sustainable and profitable business growth and development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and is the focal point for the Customer and NOV stakeholders.
The KSA Plant Manager must be competent and able supervise and monitor fabrication activities of Process equipment for the O&G industry, including establishing key performance indicators and metrics for continuous monitoring of the fabrication performance. The role is responsible for ensuring that the Projects under execution have the right numbers of resources to support the ongoing requirements without compromising quality or schedule execution performance.
Responsibilities/Accountabilty & Authority
- Responsible for managing projects commercial performance and risks.
- Maintain positive Client relationships for all projects in the region.
- Acts as the channel of communication with the Client and the NOV wider management and other stakeholders where necessary.
- Define in Liaison with the Project manager's the fabrication scope of work, deliverables and requirements, based on contract scope of work, project specifications and other governing documents.
- Manage interfaces between engineering and fabrication.
- Hold regular interface meetings as required to keep control of progress.
- Ensure all operations are carried out within the established company policies, procedures, systems and run with legality and conformity to established regulation.
- Plan and monitor the day to day running of the business to ensure smooth progress.
- Manage relationships/agreements with other NOV divisions, external partners/vendors.
- Coordinate with other departments such as Finance, Engineering etc
- Provide leadership by directing the efforts of personnel involved in KSA projects.
- Responsible for the overall performance of the supporting/assigned departments, functions and personnel.
- Support business development within the region.
Experience/Education/Skill-set Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent Experience
- Excellent written and speaking communication skills
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Experience and knowledge within Project Management, engineering and/or fabrication management of Process Equipment for O&G industry.
Experience
- 10- 15 Years of experience in Oil & Gas industry, 8 Years minimum in Management role.
- Project Management experience preferred.
