- Job Description: As the Play Area Assistant, you will be responsible for day to day tasks of the play area, ensuring smooth running and exceptional customer service. Your primary duties will include:
Greet and Welcome guests into the play area and caf
- Assist with the admission fees
Provide information about the play areas activities, rules and safety guidelines- Address customer inquiries, concerns and requests promptly and professionally
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by being attentive and helpful
- Monitor and enforce play area rules and safety protocols
Perform routine safety checks on equipment and report any maintenance issues- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the play area
Coordinate and assist in organizing birthday parties and special events
- Set up party areas, including decorations, tables and seating arrangements
Ensure the party guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience- Handle cash transactions including admissions
Maintain a clean and organized play area by picking up toys and sanitizing surfaces
- Ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of play equipment and facilities.
Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Excellent problem solving skills- Basic math for cash handling
Physical stamina for standing, walking and light lifting
- Positive attitude, especially when interacting with children and families
* Previous experience in events preferred
- Previous experience in childcare preferred
