The Khalil Research Group at NYU Abu Dhabi invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Associate to work on the development and application of covalent organic frameworks (COFs) for advanced water treatment and energy storage solutions. The successful candidate will join a young yet highly energytic team dedicated to leveraging chemistry, reaction engineering, and manufacturing principles to address pressing challenges in the water and energy sectors.
The appointed postdoctoral associate will conduct independent research on COF materials, focusing on their synthesis, scalability, and practical application. Key responsibilities include designing molecules, frameworks, experiments, publishing high-quality research, and contributing to the groups funding efforts. The position provides a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility and engage with a collaborative and diverse research community at NYUAD.
Applicants must have a PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Excellent experimental and characterization skills relevant to the project are required.
