Post Doctoral Fellow
Position Overview
KU is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to work on funded project focus on formulation and evaluation of sulfur-based artificial soils for agricultural industry. More specifically, we are seeking a candidate who has strong background in sulfur chemistry with emphasis on understanding the interplay between structure and properties of sulfide and sulfur minerals. A key expertise is fundamental understanding of sulfur on soil chemistry and related materials.
Some key responsibilities are as follow:
Formulate sulfides and oxides mix with specific micronutrition targets
Design scale up process for making kilograms of above formula
Characterize samples using spectroscopy, structure techniques and texture
Optimize process for large scale industrial scale
Understand structure-properties relationship between formulated soil and performance
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
